Dragon boat racing

Hi,

Do you know that the National Gallery of Australia is facing back the Lake Burley Griffin? When Trinh, Phuong and I were drawing in the garden of the National Gallery of Australia, my mom told me that she heard people cheered, so she run half of the lake. She saw dragon boat racing on the other side of the lake! It was almost over, but she still could catch some pictures.

There are 20 paddlers in pairs, 1 drummer or caller, and 1 sweep (a steerer) at the rear of the boat.
The drummer leads the paddlers throughout a race using the rhythmic drum beat to indicate the frequency and synchronicity of all the paddlers' strokes.

The start and finish place

When the race is over, the crew takes the drum and the dragon off the boat.

Go... go... paddlers! Go .... go .... dragon boat!
