When we were lost

Hello,

This afternoon Tante Alfa, my mom and I had a trip to celebrate Tante Alfa's friend who has already finished her study. It was supposed to be a maximum of two-hour journey, but it became a five-hour journey, because we were lost! We were supposed to meet other friends at a camp site and then we were going to have a caving adventure in Carey's cave, Wee Jasper nature reserve.
My mom and I had already looked at the website this morning about Carey's cave and it was very interesting, since there was an underground workshop. We could learn about crystals, rocks and fossils and their characteristics.
However, we did not expect that we would be lost! My mom did not bring a map and we all depended on a car's GPS. My mom thought, maybe because the weather was not good, because it was raining heavily; or maybe because the area was not covered by the satellite; so the GPS could not work well. The GPS asked us to turn left, turn right, make a U turn .... but all ended in a dead end farms.
Well, we still could see many interesting views...
This is Saint Sava, a Serbian orthodox church.

Green views along the way.

This is me. You can see a wind farm in the background.

Finally, my mom asked to go home .... We were very hungry ..... When we got home, my mom boiled corns and then she added condensed milk and cheese on them. Yummy!

Chinese New Year

Hello,

In the beginning of February, Tante Ririn, Andra and me had a chance to see a dragon dance in front of the Chinese stores in Dickson. It was very short, but very interesting. It was so colorful, but the music was too loud for me.

Hey, I took all the pictures by myself. My mom taught me how to take a picture using her pocket camera. Mommy, you almost forgot to upload the pictures! The Chinese new year has already left!!!

Heal the world

Hello,

When I am going to eat, my mom always remind me to pray. Well, actually, when I am going to do something, she always remind me to pray and thank God for everything that He gives us. She always remind me that our brothers and sisters in other parts of the world are sick, hungry, thirsty, fearful, homeless, cause many of them suffered from flood, cyclone, snow blizzard, tsunami, earth quake and even a war. We always try to help our brothers and sisters and remember them in our prayer.

My mom told me that today is present, because today is a gift. There is always a hope for a better day. I remember Michael Jackson's song, "Heal the world". We often sing that song together.

There's a place in your heart and I know that it is love
And this place could be much brighter than tomorrow
And if you really try you'll find there's no need to cry
In this place you'll feel there's no hurt or sorrow

There are ways to get there if you care enough for the living
Make a little space make a better place...

Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough
For the living
Make a better place
For you and for me

If you want to know why
There's a love that cannot lie
Love is strong, it only cares for joyful giving
If we try we shall see
In this bliss we cannot feel fear or dread
We stop existing and start living

Then it feels that always
Love's enough for us growing
So make a better world
Make a better world...

Laptop

Hello,

The weather is very hot here in Canberra. My mom said several days ago it was 38-39 degree Celsius and our laptops become very hot, too! My mom tried to find laptop cooler in several electronic stores, but she couldn't find one. Well, she has to try it again next week.

Here, I made a laptop, a macbook, from a paper.

These are the screen and the keyboard.

I attached a keyboard, so I can play music. I also made a mouse!

This is a pocket folder to save many files, letters and notes.

"Mom, if your laptop is hang, you can use mine. You can use my folder, as well". ^_^

Wallet

Hello,

I made a wallet, just like my mom's. Mine is purple, my mom's wallet is black. Look at it!
This is the outside.

This is the inside. I put a picture, many cards and paper money that I made by myself.

Do you want to order a wallet? Just send me an email and I will make one for you.

Dress up

Hi!

Let's play dress up! I make three little girls from a paper.Their names are Millie, Nelly and Mary.
I also make some party clothes, detective clothes, office clothes, beach clothes and pajamas for them.
I put a double tape on the back of every cloth, so you can change their clothes.
This is Millie. She is wearing a beach cloth. You can change her clothes, if you like.

This is Nelly. She is wearing a detective cloth. You can change her clothes and her hats!

This is Mary. She is wearing an office cloth and you can change her clothes, as well.

Ready? Go change!
