Belconnen

Hi,

Abigail, my friend, has moved to New South Wales, and today she is coming to Canberra. Abi's mom asked my mom to meet Abi's family and friends at McDonald Belconnen at 3 pm. My mom thought it is the one at Westfield mall. We have waited there for one hour, but no body showed up. Abi's mom explained that it is the one close to Emu bank. Well, where is it? My mom had to ask some people several times, before we got there. Oh, it is the one by Ginninderra Lake.

On the way to McDonald, we passed Belconnen skatepark. Many children and teenagers were biking, skateboarding and scootering. It's awesome!

Finally, we got there. It's very nice to see Abi and her family again. This is Abi and me. I played with Abi, Kari and Bethany.

We could stay only for one hour, cause we didn't want to miss the last bus back home.

Bye, Abi. Have a nice trip back home. See you next time.

When we were lost

Hello,

This afternoon Tante Alfa, my mom and I had a trip to celebrate Tante Alfa's friend who has already finished her study. It was supposed to be a maximum of two-hour journey, but it became a five-hour journey, because we were lost! We were supposed to meet other friends at a camp site and then we were going to have a caving adventure in Carey's cave, Wee Jasper nature reserve.
My mom and I had already looked at the website this morning about Carey's cave and it was very interesting, since there was an underground workshop. We could learn about crystals, rocks and fossils and their characteristics.
However, we did not expect that we would be lost! My mom did not bring a map and we all depended on a car's GPS. My mom thought, maybe because the weather was not good, because it was raining heavily; or maybe because the area was not covered by the satellite; so the GPS could not work well. The GPS asked us to turn left, turn right, make a U turn .... but all ended in a dead end farms.
Well, we still could see many interesting views...
This is Saint Sava, a Serbian orthodox church.

Green views along the way.

This is me. You can see a wind farm in the background.

Finally, my mom asked to go home .... We were very hungry ..... When we got home, my mom boiled corns and then she added condensed milk and cheese on them. Yummy!

Wonderful memories

Hello,

These are my best friends at school. They were sad when I told them that I wanted to visit my family in Indonesia. From left to right: Sophia, me, Abigail and Trinh.

This is me, at home

When I was at home, I made some origami. These were origami that I made: kusudama and rabbit box. My brother made a paper crane for me.

These were robots that my brother made.

This was a card that I made for my mom.

These were some of our pictures when we visited Kebun Raya Bogor and Taman Safari II Prigen. My mom took most of the pictures from inside the car, cause we were not allowed to open the window when we were in Taman Safari.

The last week of our visit to Indonesia was ended in Jakarta.
